7 - DIAGNOSTIC MENU

This menu allows you to view the diagnostics for the SIM card inserted into the RTG 100.

1) Signal: this shows a series of technical parameters on SIM card function: the final classification is

important to the user. This may be:

 Limited service: the SIM card is not fully functional. The reasons for this may be:

 SIM card not enabled by the chosen telephone company;

 SIM card PIN code not disabled;

 GPRS service not enabled by the chosen telephone company;

 SIM card broken;

 No connection: SIM card functioning and awaiting GPRS connection.

2) Pin code: reading the SIM card looking for PIN code. The following possibilities may ensue:

 READY: SIM card ready for GPRS connection;

 ERROR: no SIM card found;

 SIM PIN: SIM card set up with PIN enabled.
